WE AIM TO HELP KEEP OTR CLIENTS AND STAFF HEALTHY

UPDATE:  November 2022

OTR and our clients has managed to make it through the impact of the COVID-19 virus pandemic to the best of our ability as we continue to be present and provide services. We appreciate your patience. Along with ongoing telehealth implementations that are now permanently an option our staff continue to sanitize offices on a regular basis. This continues as we have returned to providing in-person services with the hybrid option of virtual sessions. We have hand sanitizer and masks ready for your use upon entering the waiting areas.  We have put reminders throughout to wash hands and use the hand sanitizer. We began seeing fully vaccinated clients on a staggered schedule in March 2021. These appointments were limited and staggered to avoid overlap in waiting areas when possible and now we are back to our normal schedule. Both of our offices are located in densely populated areas and we see many of our frontline medical and first responders.  We provide walk in services for our first responders and medical folks.  Please understand there is a risk to staff and clients and precautions must be taken. The OTR team is fully vaccinated but we no longer are required to have all clients coming in person vaccinated. PLEASE DO NOT COME TO THE OFFICE IF YOU ARE SICK. IF YOU ARE SICK YOU WILL GET US SICK THEN WE CAN'T COME IN TO THE OFFICE.

PLEASE EMAIL US FOR INFORMATION: OTR@overtherainbowllc.com

***On Monday March 23, 2020 both offices in DC and Alexandria moved to TELEHEALTH ONLY.  This was due to the risk of exposure to clients and staff as well as the many quarantines, reports of illness of staff and clients, and community restrictions in place. Since March 2020 the numbers of those exposed and/or effected have significantly increased in our communities and ethically it is our responsibility to limit any further risks to clients or our own team members, therefore services remain virtual unless there is an urgent matter requiring services to be in person.  We are not providing psychological testing due to limitations.

We are following recommendations and guidelines of the metro area (VA, DC, MD) and the CDC.***

We have continued to provide intakes during this time.
IF YOU ARE A FIRST RESPONDER or FRONTLINE MEDICAL RESPONSE PLEASE LET US KNOW.

Insurance companies are providing coverage for telehealth services. At this time CIGNA, AETNA, Carefirst/BCBS, Magellan, Amerihealth and TRICARE/HUMANA are still covering telehealth services.

We have been using a HIPAA compliant platform for our Video/Telehealth sessions through our email system which is provided by Google Business. The video system used is called Google Meet which can be found in Gmail and Google Business accounts. It can also be downloaded as an app for use. Zoom is the other option we can utilize if needed and is also set up as HIPAA compliant. When needed other platforms such as Facetime and Skype have been temporarily allowed to be used during this time per government regulations during the COVID 19 response.

Our Trainees are still closely supervised and supervisors are always available and involved despite services being virtual. Supervisors also participate in sessions virtually with trainees and their clients if needed. The OTR Team is ALWAYS working together despite not seeing each other in person as often these days.

We utilize SQUARE to send invoices for copayments and fees for virtual services. We email forms for intake and require them to be returned signed before intake begins or brought to us for any in-person intakes. We will continue to offer a hybrid version of in-person and virtual services as long as needed and possible.

Thank you for your patience and please Take Care and Be Well.
